Pegaso is a 2-, 3- and 4-seater sofa bed designed to combine the comfort of a real bed with the elegance of a contemporary sofa. Available with a 120, 140 or 160 x 197 cm mattress, it suits living rooms, guest rooms, second homes and hospitality settings, offering a practical, welcoming convertible solution with meticulous attention to every detail.
The design expresses a modern contemporary style, featuring soft volumes, balanced proportions and a streamlined silhouette. The padded armrests provide comfortable support even when you lie on your side with a pillow, while the 13 cm-high satin black steel legs visually lighten the structure and make it easy to clean under the sofa with vacuum cleaners and home robots.
The transformation happens via a practical fold-over bed mechanism, which lets you open the sleeping surface with a simple, smooth movement, without having to remove the seat and back cushions. The high-strength furniture-grade tubular frame is protected by an epoxy coating, designed to limit corrosion and deterioration of the metal parts.
The electrowelded mesh sleeping base is included as standard and features an end section in elastic straps, designed to increase bed comfort and make the seat more comfortable too when the mechanism is closed. Alternatively, an optional base is available with orthopedic slats in eco-friendly wood and a central metal bar, particularly recommended for daily use of the sofa bed.
Pegaso is available in three configurations: the 2-seater version includes a 120 x 197 cm mattress, ideal as a small double; the 3-seater version fits a 140 x 197 cm mattress, perfect as a French double; the 4-seater version instead offers a standard double mattress with 2 sleeping places at 160 x 197 cm. The external widths of the sofa are 178, 198 and 218 cm respectively.
The H14 cm mattress included as standard is made of high-density polyurethane foam and is designed to provide ergonomic, comfortable support. The stretch fabric cover with diamond quilting, the breathable 3D band, and the white hypoallergenic and antibacterial fabric promote air circulation and help keep the sleeping surface fresh and climate-controlled.
The padded backrest incorporates a comfortable lumbar support area, designed to support the lower back while seated. The reclining headrests with ratchet mechanism allow you to adjust the tilt of the upper part of the backrest, offering customized support for the head, neck and cervical area.
Inside the backrest a practical pillow storage compartment is hidden, ideal for storing cushions, throws, light sheets and night-time accessories. Pegaso is also completely removable-cover: frame, seats, backrest and armrests can have the cover removed, making sofa maintenance and washing easier.
This version is made in T22 Kimono fabric, a refined jacquard fabric in soft chenille with a structured, slightly three-dimensional weave. The textured workmanship adds depth to the padded surfaces, while the soft, full hand enhances the sofa’s lines with sophisticated elegance, ideal for contemporary living rooms and refined interiors.
The T22 Kimono cover is stain-removable, non-shrink and treated with a water-repellent finish, qualities that enhance solidity and practicality for everyday use. It can be machine-washed at 30 °C and has a shrinkage after washing of 0%.
Pegaso can be customized in mauve, green slate, beige, powder blue, mustard yellow, grey, lead grey, aubergine, cream, petrol blue, ruby red, terracotta, taupe and olive green. A rich, versatile palette, designed to match the sofa to bright, natural interiors or more intense, statement settings.
Made in Italy, Pegaso is a fully removable-cover sofa bed with reclining headrests designed to offer comfort, practicality and build quality in an elegant, convertible solution.
