The measurements and dimensions of a corner sofa are certainly influenced by the number of seats the sofa has. This, in addition to style, is an element that cannot be overlooked when we choose a sofa for our home. Taking the correct measurements is in fact the first step towards choosing a quality sofa. In this way, the sofa fits our needs and we can make use of every centimetre.
For smaller spaces, two-seater sofas are excellent because they offer the right comfort and do not take up too much room, whereas they would look a bit bare in large living rooms where the ideal solution might instead be choosing a sofa with 3 or 4 seats. In the image below we see the 3-seater Blade corner sofa, whose dimensions are 288 x 103 x 77 cm (L x D x H). In the 2-seater version, you can choose between:

The corner sofas we design are made up of two or three seats with a chaise longue, and the measurements vary depending on the model. Divani.store also offers the possibility to order the corner position directly on the website: right or left.
In some models the chaise longue, or peninsula, is reversible and adapts to any change in space. There will therefore be no need to choose a single structure, and if we move house or want to change the layout of our living room, the chaise longue will adjust in the best way.
The dimensions are indicative, but we can summarise them as follows:

To take the correct living room measurements and avoid mistakes when choosing the sofa, you can use masking tape to outline the area you’re interested in. Where to place the corner sofa
The sofa is the heart of the living area and it’s the first thing we think of when we come back tired from a demanding day at work. Yet if it’s placed in the wrong spot, it risks interfering with the furnishings and with the balance of the whole room.
Here are some tips for finding the ideal position for our corner sofa.
First of all, we need to be clear about the position of the other furniture in the room. In the living room we can include coffee tables, bookcases, shelves, sideboards, wall units. If there is a television in our ideal living room, the corner sofa should face it. Based on this configuration, we can decide whether to place the sofa against the wall, in the middle of the room or use it as a divider in an open-plan space.

Another issue we should consider is where the room’s light sources will be located. We should therefore take care to place the corner sofa near sources of natural light. This will bring multiple benefits to our living room and our rest, both in terms of design and well-being (think of reading a book without a light source nearby). In the same way, we can’t consider only the sofa: the TV unit, for example, should not receive too much light from the window, otherwise we won’t be able to see anything all day.
